Glomerulonephritis/Glomerular Nephritis
It is a common term for most of the kidney related diseases. Glomerulonephritis could be due to a sudden attack or it might build up gradually. There are two types of Glomerulonephritis. When the Glomerulonephritis occurs on it’s own, it is said to be primary Glomerulonephritis whereas if it is due to diseases like lupus or diabetes, it is termed as secondary glomerulonephritis. The treatment usually depends upon the type of glomerulonephritis for which kidney biopsy is required. It can occur at any age group. If left untreated, it could cause major health issues including kidney failure.
